Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Admission Requirement
Anyone who has passed LL.B. (Honors.) examination from this University or from any other University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh, or passed LL.B. Examination from any other foreign University is eligible for admission. Semester duration Master of Laws (LL.M.) is a 1 year program consisting of 3 semesters. There are 3 trimesters in each academic year namely spring (January to April), summer (May to August), and fall (September to December).
Admission Waiver for 2024
Students will get 15 percent tuition fee waiver if he/she obtained total GPA 7 both in SSC and USC. But the students those who have obtained total GPA 10 both in SSC and HSC will get 30 percent tuition fee waiver. At least 5 eligible persons coming from any particular corporate body or organization will be treated as special group. This group will be eligible for 20 percent tuition fee waiver.
GUB Mission & Vision
BSc. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a 4-year program offered by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering under the Faculty of Science and Technology of this University. Computer Science and Engineering is the most influential subject in the World. The President of ACM David Patterson has said that Computer Science is there for 60 years and it will be there for at least another 60 years. The Turing award (Noble Prize of Computer Science) winner of 2008 Dt Barbara Liskov of MIT has also said that the importance of Computer Science and Engineering will increase in future. But Bangladesh still needs a lot of skilled manpower in this field. The aim of the Computer Science and Engineering Department is to create international standard skills in Computer Science & Engineering and related fields through innovative ideas and by providing world class education.
GUB Semester Duration
B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is 4 years for Regular & 44 months for diploma holders program consisting of 12 semesters for regular & II semesters for diploma holders. There are 3 trimesters in each academic year namely spring (January to April), summer (May to August), and fall (September to December).
GUB Degree Requirement
At least 150 credit hours for regular & 132 credit hours for diploma holders must be earned to be eligible for graduation.
